ART DECO BLACK EBONISED DISPLAY DRINKS CABINET Vintage 1930s

An Art Deco ebonised oak display/drinks cabinet. The finish has been added at a later date, and is complimentary for the Art Deco period. There are a few marks and finish loss in places. The cabinet has a central round bevelled-glass fronted two door cabinet, and stands on a stepped plinth.

The interior cupboard space has two baize lined drawers with a pull-out bottle holder. The cabinet retains the original chrome handles. There are two keys working each lock.

I have added tassels for decoration. There is a very slight sweet aroma to the inside cupboard spaces.

Please refer to all photographs which can be enlarged. Sturdy in structure, with no loose joints, the cabinet is free from any damage or woodworm. The cabinet is made in solid and veneered oak.

112cm wide x 161cm high x 49cm deep. Collection in person is very welcome, collect within 4 weeks as of end of sale. If you collect the item, you may be eligible for a discount on the price. Collection made by mutual agreement between both parties. We would prefer collection during Monday-Friday.

The drivers will be happy to carry the item to a room of your choice on ground or first floor, providing it is safe and accessible. We use a third party furniture courier. Please remember this is an ethical service, and as such it will not increase its carbon footprint in order to reach you earlier. Deliveries are made between Monday and Friday. All items are insured against damage/breakage whilst in transit. As with most couriers, the company we use covers different parts of the country on set days as part of well established routes, and while they will try to accommodate any time/day restrictions, a degree of flexibility on the customers part is necessary. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported to us after you've signed it, so please do check your item. Please remove any tripping hazards, furniture, ornaments or wall fixtures that will constrict the path. Please note that the drivers are not allowed to remove their shoes due to health and safety reasons. It is the recipient's responsibility to protect floors and carpets. It is illegal for the courier to stop on a red-route: please liaise with the courier company to make alternative arrangements if needed.

If you are moving home or do not require the item for a while, we are more than happy to store it for up to 4 weeks at no extra cost. We will not be held liable for any damage caused by a third party furniture courier. We will not accept non-furniture couriers such as TNT and DPD due to the risk of furniture being damaged in their care. This item cannot be sent via Parcelforce.
