Art Deco Bow Fronted Glass Display Cabinet / Gin Cabinet in Little Greene Basalt

  
This is a beautiful vintage bow fronted Art Deco double fronted glass china / display cabinet standing on cabriole legs, originally from Belgium. It benefits from two glass shelves internally with a mirrored back and a single glazed door. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Little Greene's timeless dramatic inky dark'Basalt' Intelligent Satinwood and internally the back and base have been lined with a beautiful grey velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet. This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.
