Art Deco Dining Table + Cloud Style Chairs, Bauhaus /'junior Epstein' / Heals

ART DECO DINING TABLE & CLOUD STYLE CHAIRS - 1920s / 1930s - BAUHAUS /'JUNIOR EPSTEIN' / HEALS? Beautiful compact extending table with golden honey sycamore? Veneer having accented dark grain. Chairs have cloud style bentwood tub backs and sit on unique fully concave octagonal fluted round tapered legs. Seat backs and sprung bases in a soft turquoise leatherette with piped edgings.

Classic clean/simple Deco lines, no overly elaborate/fussy detailing or heavy set base. Very pure, more Bauhaus than Epstein maybe and could also sit nicely in a Mid Century decorated interior. Very well put together set of vintage furniture. In original and overall good condition, however needs some tlc to bring back to its former glory. Has some scrapes, scuffs, faded veneer in some areas etc. My intention is to gently restore when have some time and possibly retrim with leather will of course review price accordingly.. Have bought a high quality Italian upholstery hide as pictured (ex RALPH LAUREN HOME).. Colour is a browny claret that tones really well with the golden colour of the wood.

Hide is enormous, 5.75m², so potentially could also cover the seat backs if decide to for this look. L: 54"/137cm (CORRECTED - PREVIOUSLY ADVISED 127cm) W: 33"/84cm H: 29.5/75cm. FULLY EXTENDED: 198cm = potentially seat 10.

Base unscews/detatches and is 26/66cm high. Potentially could fit in a good size estate car or mpv. Can recommend or get a quote. Any questions or would like more pics.. Table leaf extension, not pictured is included.

Also note that Harry & Lou Epstein didn't mark their furniture and so many out there are self made attributions without provenance. This piece is also unmarked, only having a number stamp on upper side of base stretcher.
