Attractive Large Antique Victorian Walnut Mirror Door Wardrobe With Base Drawer

A lovely Victorian walnut mirror door wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to the late 19th century. The wardrobe sits on a plinth base and has a separate cornice. The main hanging and drawer section is quite large and heavy, please be aware regarding access and around corners etc.. The front of the wardrobe is of a three panel design with the central panel being a large mirror door. The door is fitted with a lock (key is supplied). The interior of the wardrobe is fitted with a brass side to side hanging rail with six brass hooks attached, each interior side has a fitted brass hook. The wardrobe is lined with a leaf patterned fabric.

At the base there is one large deep drawer fitted with decorative brass drop handles on shapely backplates. The wardrobe has a height of 79.5" (202cm) with a cornice width of 47.5" (121cm), a base width of 43.5" (111cm), a cornice depth of 21.5" (55cm) and a base depth of 20 (51cm).

This lovely walnut mirror door wardrobe remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few minor marks and scratches to the outer right hand side and the material is showing a bit of wear.

This remains a very stylish and elegant walnut mirror door wardrobe which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
