This watch used to be an Ulysse Nardin pocket watch. Original case was recycled, we restored original Ulysse Nardin movement and placed it in a modern case. It is very well preserved movement.

We did very few cleaning and restoration. You can see this clearly from provided photos. The process this watch went through is called'marriage' (hence the term, marriage watch).

This wristwatch was made on a base of original Swiss Ulysse Nardin pocket watch movement. This pocket watch mechanism was modified into a wristwatch and placed in made to fit modern wrist watch movement case. You are looking at a professionally made marriage wrist watch product.

Prior to listing this wristwatch for sale we run it through vigorous tests to make sure it keeps time and it will continue serving you like it served its original owner. This is very special movement and in order to set the time (move hands to desired position) it is required to keep the small release button (pusher button) under the crown fully pressed while twisting the crown clockwise. To wind up the movement all you need to do is just to twist the crown clockwise. While winding it up, please, make sure small release button (pusher) is not being pressed, i.

New, modern open face stainless steel gold-plated case. New metal dial is hand-crafted enameled. Diameter of the dial is: 34 mm. CASE DIAMETER: 38 mm CASE THICKNESS.

It is signed: Ulysse Nardin Locle. You can check this movement background and validate its authenticity by researching its serial number. Please, note, some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts. This movement is no longer manufactured by Ulysse Nardin.

The watch is in fully working condition. Its accuracy is +/- 5 min a day.

We test all our watches multiple times prior to listing it for sale. This is a marriage watch. Vintage Ulysse Nardin mechanism was fit into the new modern case in order to give the movement a "second life". It is highly recommended to service this watch once every two-three years.
