1930's Pig Original Liberty's London Omersa Brown Leather Footstool Must See

  
Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely sublime original 1930s Libertys London Omersa brown leather land dyed Pig footstool. I have three originals in stock, a Rhino in lovely order circa 1950s, a pig circa 1930s and an Elephant circa 1950s, I then have three pigs which have been custom hand dyed. These come in varying sizes there is a quite unpractical extra large size which is around a meter wide thats more of a small bench, this is a lovely single person footstool size which is what it was originally designed for, now however they are highly collectable as decorative pieces. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the condition is very good for the age, the leather has a wonderful patina throughout, its worn around the hard wearing areas like the snout and so on, this piece just screams period patina. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
