White and red glass bead art deco chinoiserie necklace in the style of Neiger Brothers. This fabulous art deco long line flapper necklace is so detailed.

Very much in the style of the Neiger Brothers and almost certainly from Czechoslovakia, this glass bead necklace has a chinoiserie aesthetic with the larger white beads having an impressed image of a man in a Chinese style hat. The red beads are all plain glass and really stand out against the off white colour of the decorated beads. Each bead is hand knotted into place - the cord seems to be in reasonable condition with one visible repair or perhaps the original final knot when the piece was finished? I would recommend wearing with care or having the necklace professionally restrung unless it will be kept in a collection. The beads are all intact though there is some wear to the paint used to highlight the impressed designs.
