Attractive Oriental Carved Washstand With Fitted Basin & Plumbing

We date this washstand to the late 20th century. The washstand sits on four small legs and consists of a central two door cupboard.

The main table is fitted with a circular basin and rear taps. There is under sink plumbing, this has not been used and the interior of the cupboard does not have any drill holes. The washstand has ornate pierced carvings to each side of the cupboard and the doors are fitted with oriental drop handles that have a pin to keep the door secure. The washstand has an overall height of 48.5" (123cm) including the taps, a main surface height of 33 (84cm), a width of 42.5" (108cm) and a depth of 21.5 (55cm).

This attractive washstand remains in very good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage.
