Dating from the early 20th century, this well made roll top desk is finished in figured English oak. It has an S tambour front opening to a fitted interior over an arrangement of two slides and 7 storage and filing drawers raised on a plinth base. The desk dismantles into top and base for transport. It is in sturdy vintage condition and free from woodworm. The office desk measures 122 cm (48 in) wide by 113 cm (44 1/2 in) tall and 68 cm (26 3/4 in) deep, the knee space is 48 cm (in) wide by 61 cm (in) high.
