French Vintage Hand-Painted Lamp in Art Deco Style with Glass Shade

  

This beautiful French decorative lamp was made in the 1950s in the style of a 1920s oil lamp. I have added an opaque ribbed glass shade that goes wonderfully with the lamp base. This would look good in any room in the house.

The lamp base is hand-painted black with multi-coloured flowers and gold rings. The flowers are painted on both the front and back of the base and there is a signature:'B. It is in good vintage condition.

The lamp base is made of wood and has a brass collar that holds the glass lampshade. It has a black PVC lead and an inline switch. It has recently been re-wired with a UK plug and has been PAT safe tested. The lamp base and shade is 46cm (18.1") tall and 16cm (6.2") in diameter. It weighs just over 2kg (4.4lbs).
