This is a great shabby chic / deco / Filmset item or an upholstery project. The frame and Sprungbase are in good condition and there are is no sign of woodworm, repaired joints or damage.

The fabric is still firmly place but has damage as photographed , no rips or tears. They benefit from a steel sprungbase mechanism as fitted by the craftsmen of the late Art Deco period.
