This watch used to be an Omega pocket watch. We restored original Omega movement and placed it in a modern case.

It is very well preserved movement. On top of that, we were very lucky with the dial.

Original deal was in perfect condition with no hairlines. So, with this watch you get both, original Dial and original Movement. You can see this clearly from provided photos. The process this watch went through is called'marriage' (hence the term, marriage watch). This wristwatch was made on a base of original Swiss Omega pocket watch movement.

This pocket watch mechanism was modified into a wristwatch and placed in made to fit modern wrist watch movement case. You are looking at a professionally made marriage wrist watch product. Prior to listing this wristwatch for sale we run it through vigorous tests to make sure it keeps time and it will continue serving you like it served its original owner. CASE : New, modern open face engraved gold-plated case. CASE DIAMETER: 45 mm CASE THICKNESS: 13 mm.

DIAL : Original enamel dial is in perfect condition (without any hairlines). It is signed: Omega, 17 LB. You can check this movement background and validate its authenticity by researching its serial number. Please, note, some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts.

This movement is no longer manufactured by Omega. The watch is in fully working condition. Its accuracy is +/- 5 min a day. We test all our watches multiple times prior to listing it for sale. This is a marriage watch.

Vintage Omega mechanism was fit into the new modern case in order to give the movement a "second life". It is highly recommended to service this watch once every two-three years.
