Mid Century Art Deco Vintage Danish Pale Violet Cotton Club Lounge Arm Chair 40s

Designer: Danish Art Deco Design. Material: Cotton upholstery with Beech wood frame. Maximum Dimensions: Width 83cm, Depth 89cm, Height 83cm and Seat Height 37cm. Condition: Excellent with minimal signs of wear. The chair is believed to have been reupholstered in the last 10-20 years and shows little sign of use.

Description: An elegant Danish original Art Deco club chair. The chair is upholstered in a pale Violet coloured Cotton weave, featuring a light pattern. The seat back is shaped and curved, with subtle piping creating a ribbed detail to the backrest, and highlighting the edges of the chair. Like the majority of all Deco pieces, the chair is heavily sprung to the seat base, and is raised upon a sturdy Beech wood frame. The chair is then finished off at the base with moulded block feet, a typical Deco design feature.
