OUTSTANDING ART DECO WALNUT 4 PIECE BEDROOM SUITE. This is a very rare outstanding Art Deco 4 piece bedroom suite. The suite is made of walnut and is in excellent condition throughout with no splits, loose joints, woodworm or noticeable marks. The set has amazing figured and burr walnut veneers on every piece. The suite consists of a large triple wardrobe, a matching smaller two door wardrobe a knee hole dressing table, a matching beside cabinets/stand.

The suite has fabulous veneers on the fronts and the top of the chest and dressing table. The large wardrobe offers a massive amount of storage it is shelved down one side with a hanging section along side, this wardobe will dismantle so should go in the most difficult of rooms, The smaller two door wardobe is all one piece. The dressing table is a knee hole version which is strong and very sturdy. The dressing table can also be used as a writing desk as the mirrors are removable. Finally there is a single bedside cabinets with a drawer and cupboard.

The bedroom suite is in showroom condition throughout as it has recently been re polished. The set was manufactured by Maples and co all the items have the mapel badge attached. This company were one of the finest furniture makers of the last 150 years and regularly made furniture for the royal family.

We date this suite from the early 30s to early 50s. This is an extremely heavy suite that will require 2 strong people to move.
