Rare Dutch Hand Carved Solid Oak Triple Bank Library Bookcase Fully Dismantles

  
Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this stunning hand carved solid oak Dutch triple bank Library bookcase circa 1940. This piece was hand made by a master craftsman in Bruges Belgium for a very successful Architect. Its part of a complete Library suite which includes the double sided heavily carved partners desk, matching original upholstery brown leather chair, side table, large hutch cupboard and huge triple bank full sized library bookcase, all other pieces are listed under my other items. The bookcase is a really good find, it totally dismantles for ease of transport as you can see in the last picture, all the shelves are all height adjustable and or removable so there are no restrictions on the height of the book you wish to place.

We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the timber is all perfect, there is one small repair to the base which you can't see, otherwise there is nothing other than good points to note around the condition. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
