This desk has been fully restored to include being stripped back to the bare wood, the oak has then been lightly stained and French polished to a perfect finish. The split panel brown leather top has been hand dyed this deep cigar brown colour. This desk is very rare, Ive never seen another of this size, most likely designed for a legal office or study area where at least four people needed to share the same desk. You have matching cupboards on both sides and height adjustable writing slopes, one side has four medium sized drawers one of which has a stationary divider inside, the other side has two large drawers.

The middle sections on both intentionally dont have a drawer for extra leg height space. The desk has two original keys, the locks to the cupboards and the most substantial I have ever seen, they run the full length of the door and lock at the top and bottom, you would have to break the door to open them without the key. Either side boasts sliding work shelves which increase the width substantially as below. This desk is a real statement piece, you will never see another like it and the new owner will be thrilled with the look feel and storage space.

Width:- 229cm desk alone, with side panels extended 325cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
