Unique and charming charred wood'Shou-Sugi-Ban' reclaimed pallet coffee table on Hairpin legs. This beautiful and psychedelic table is part of the Hendrix range! Re-purposed pallet reassembled, cleaned and hand planed. Wood charred using ancient Japanese techniques in order to protect the wood and bring out the natural grain. Dye's were used to add distinctive colour and accentuate and celebrate the wood grain.

Some of the colour used comes from ground up beetroot, tumeric and red wine to keep the process as natural as possible. Finished with 3 coats of linseed oil and 3 coats of beeswax with industrial style hairpin legs. If you do not like the colour of the legs, please let me know as I have various different colours including black, copper, red etc. PLEASE CONTACT ME if you wish different leg colours as it may take an extra 2-3 days to get the table ready for dispatch.

The ends of the tables are attached with hand cut dovetails. This is a truly unique piece of furniture and would be a stand out focal point in any room. Dimensions: 120cm (L), 60cm (W), 45cm (D). No chemicals, lacquers or varnishes were used.
