Happy Chair Home are pleased to bring you a lovely 1930s rocking chair by Heals of London. Capturing the simple geometric lines that are so characteristic of the Art Deco era, the chair is constructed from solid oak that has developed a lovely patina over the years.

The frame has been gently cleaned and waxed to enhance the presentation, but has not been messed with or harshly stripped. Testament to the high-end manufacturing that was a signature of Heals, the chair benefits from a sprung seat and this has been fully restored using traditional methods; it is once again a truly comfortable place to rest!

To finish the restoration, we upholstered this piece in a sumptuous yellow velvet that complements the colour and patina of the frame. Increasingly hard to find, this chair is ready to grace any room. Please note, collection is from Rugby, Warwickshire CV22. Couriers are welcome by appointment - please message me to discuss.
