Vintage ornate white seed bead necklace with geometric design tassel pendant. This very unusual long seed bead necklace has both an art deco and an African feel - perhaps it is both - perhaps it is Italian. I have never seen a sautoir style necklace with this very complex diamond shaped strand design before. The diamond shaped pendant and two support pieces do have a very African look and are hollow. Without doubt it is one of the most unusual pieces of costume jewellery I have ever been lucky enough to find. In excellent condition, with just the irregularities you would expect from a hand made piece of beaded jewellery. 32" long, plus 2" pendant/tassel.
