Vintage Longines Wittnauer 14k Solid Gold Mens Watch in Box 17J 10E 1950

  

This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1950. This is beautiful, clean, and in excellent condition. This comes in it's original presentation case as shown. The watch runs well and keeps time.

The time sets as it should. The case is solid 14kt yellow gold and it is about 26mm wide not including the crown. It is about 37mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Wittnauer 10E and it has 17 jewels. The band is a luxurious new Hadley Roma Genuine Crocodile leather strap.

The total length of the watch is about 9 inches. This uses a 16mm strap. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches.

The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings... Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting. This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification.
