Walnut Mid Century Cocktail Cabinet Drinks Gin Bar Art Deco Sunburst

  
Quite simply a very stylish vintage cocktail cabinet. This fabulous piece has been dismantled and stripped of the old varnished finish to reveal the original walnut veneer hidden beneath. Ive then hand painted a metallic rose gold sunburst design to the front and detailing to the top which goes beautifully alongside the walnut tones, finally sealing with several coats of Osmo PolyX oil to give a sturdy and stunning finish. The top section lifts automatically when the door is pulled down and reveals a mirrored interior with original lemon juicer and cocktail sticks. The original mirrors are fab - the back one showing images of a gold cocktail shaker and glasses, whilst the internal base and serving tray have black and gold stripes which complement beautifully with interior which i've added'pitch black' by Farrow & Ball.

As you can see, it looks stunning when lit. The lower section of the cabinet has double doors and open to reveal an internal shelf with plenty of storage for bottles.

It has a working key and a very attractive original handles and original internal light with switch which has been rewired. As this is a vintage piece of furniture, it does show signs of a previous life! There will be the odd dint/scuff and signs of wear however nothing that affects its use. Measurements: 120cm high x 60cm wide x 34cm deep.
